Role Responsibilities

Bridge use case requirements from customers or AI / ML community with SambaNova’s SW / HW technical stack
Pioneering work ahead of existing engineering capabilities, in the forms of: enable new ML applications running on SambaNova platform; enable new AI system architecture for achieving better performance and scalability
Work with internal engineering teams to standardize and robustify prototypes into official part of SambaNova’s technical capability

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent and with 2-5 years of industry experience
Hands-on experience on at AI/ML frameworks (eg. PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc)
Math/arithmetic understanding on NLP / Vision / speech-recognition models
Experience on applying NLP / Vision / speech-recognition into real-world use case applications
Knowledge or design experience on ML systems and performance optimization
Good Python / C++ programming skills

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience on AI/ML deployment (eg. Kubernetes / Amazon Elastic Compute, etc)
First author in CS / ML publications

Annual Salary Range and Level

The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000/year up to $180,000/year. This range is based on role, level, and location and reflects the salary target for new hires in the US. Individual pay within the range will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s job-related qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
