What believers are saying

  • Portcast reported continued relevance during 2026 Middle East shipping disruptions across Asian ports.
  • Its 2024 $6.5 million Series A from Susquehanna supports hiring and product expansion.
  • Customer stories from Gateway Container Line and freight forwarders show repeatable logistics use cases.

What critics are saying

  • Maritime visibility software faces platform commoditization from carriers, TMS vendors, and incumbents.
  • Portcast depends on noisy shipping data; forecast errors quickly erode customer trust.
  • If Gulf disruption normalizes, urgency fades and sales cycles stretch into 2027.

What makes Portcast unique

  • Portcast predicts over 90% of global ships and 30,000 trade routes daily.
  • Its platform links shipment data to orders, contracts, and invoices, not dashboards alone.
  • Siemens Digital Logistics partnered with Portcast in 2026, validating enterprise-grade integration.
