Travel to customers’ off-site facilities to repair and maintain pipelines and equipment.

Adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Department of Transportation safety regulations at all times.
Participate in all required training and safety classes.
Keep company trucks clean and conduct preventive maintenance checks according to protocol.
Advise the Branch Manager or Warehouse Supervisor of operating issues or concerns with company vehicles.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallets, and workstations tidy and organized.
Follow safety precautions and protocols at all times.

Job Description:
The main objective of the Field Service Technician for the Porta-Lathe business unit of PSS Industrial Group is to travel to locations off site, generally in the oilfield industry to repair and maintain pipelines and equipment. When not in the field, this position works onsite in the Fabrication Shop repairing and maintaining a wide variety of equipment.
Field Service Technicians go through extensive training to obtain an Operator’s Certification and are subject to DOT random drug testing.
Primary responsibilities:
Travel to customers’ off-site facilities for repair and maintenance of pipelines and equipment.

Ensure that company truck(s) are kept clean and that preventive maintenance checks are conducted per protocol. Advises Branch Manager or Warehouse Supervisor when there are operating issues or concerns with company vehicles.
