- 7+ years ofCloud engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or site reliability engineering experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
- Strong experience with AWS core services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS, ELB/ALB, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, and AWS Backup.
- Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NACLs, VPNs, NAT gateways, private endpoints, and load balancers.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWSCodePipeline, AWSCodeBuild, or similar platforms.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
- Experience with Git-based source control and modern branching/release practices.
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration; Windows/.NET environment experience is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, ELK/OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure, application, deployment, performance, and networking issues.
- Working knowledge of security best practices, including IAM, MFA, least privilege, encryption, patching, vulnerability remediation, logging, and audit readiness.
- Strong understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup/recovery, RTO/RPO, horizontal scaling, load balancing, and resilient architecture patterns.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
- Design, build, operate, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure supporting customer-facing and internal applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar technologies.
- Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Automate repeatable operational tasks using scripting and AWS-native services.
- Support AWS account structure, IAM, networking, compute, storage, monitoring, backup, and security services.
- Partner with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
- Implement and support highly available, resilient, scalable, and self-healing cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, cost, and operational health.
- Configure and improve logging, metrics, dashboards, alerting, and incident response workflows.
- Troubleshoot production issues across AWS infrastructure, applications, deployments, networking, and integrations.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
- Improve cloud security posture through least privilege access, secure configuration, encryption, vulnerability remediation, logging, and governance controls.
- Help define and implement AWS standards, patterns, documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Support cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and ongoing platform improvements.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve deployment quality, optimize costs, and increase platform reliability.
- Serve as a senior technical resource for AWS-related engineering, DevOps, automation, and operational questions.
