Requirements
At least 5 years of PowerBuilder development experience and SQL, including T-SQL development with SQL Server.
Experience developing complex SQL-based applications with PowerBuilder.

Responsibilities
Design, code, and test application components in accordance with development standards and architecture guidelines.
Develop new features and system functionalities.
Execute the full development life cycle from specifications through testing for technical and back-end components and modules.
Liaise with technical leads to plan and design future enhancements.
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot defects and optimize applications for improved performance.
Work on an in-house complex application supporting accounting and billing, procedures, compliance, call center integration, and third-party integrations.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Oracle relational database management system administration and Oracle Streams.
Experience with Oracle Virtual Private Database.
Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal, Argos, and Microsoft reporting tools.
Experience with web application development, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and/or Microsoft .NET development.

Job Description:
a) Developer to handle Powerbuilder and SQL development for in-house developed complex application with solutions to meet user requirements with focus on delivery within project timelines. Design, code and test components in adherence to development standards and architecture guidelines.
b) Responsible for developing new features and system functionalities. Execute entire life cycle from specifications through to testing for technical/back-end components and modules.
c) Liaise with technical leads to plan and design future enhancements, translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Troubleshoot defects and optimize for enhanced performance.
d) Responsible for working with complex SQL based application that was developed in Powerbuilder and has a multitude of functionalities including accounting/billing, procedures, compliance, call center integration and third party integrations.
e) Min. 5+ years of Powerbuilder development experience as well SQL (T-SQL) development with SQL Server.
f) Communicate effectively with co-workers in different roles: BAs, Developers, QAs and users. Ensure delivery of technical work to very high standards & Keep abreast of technology industry and market trends.
g) Experience with Oracle RDBMS administration and Oracle Streams is preferred.Experience with Oracle Virtual Private Database is preferred.
h) Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal, Argos and MS suite of reporting tools preferred.
i) Experience with web application development, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and/or MS .NET development a plus.
