Responsibilities
- Own the territory plan, including segmentation, call cadence, routing, and coverage across independent optometry and ophthalmology practices, multi-location groups, and relevant accounts.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and manage the funnel, forecasts, and activity metrics using disciplined CRM practices.
- Lead compliant in-office data reviews, trainings, and lunch-and-learns for eyecare professionals, covering patient selection, expected outcomes, safety, onset and duration, and practice workflow.
- Translate clinical evidence into practical workflows such as screening prompts, exam-lane cues, and intake questions; equip practice staff with tools that support consistent use and capture field insights to refine messaging and resources.
- Position and drive adoption of an out-of-pocket therapy, set clear expectations for value, usage, and follow-up, and use starter resources and patient materials compliantly.
- Document customer feedback and insights and share them with appropriate internal partners as needed.
- Execute brand strategy and digital tools, support regional and national meetings and POAs, and share repeatable best practices.
- Comply with applicable standards, including adverse event reporting and healthcare professional interactions.
- Travel to client sites, which may involve driving or using planes, trains, taxis, or other transportation.
Desired Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical, medical, or closely related sales experience is a plus.
- Eye-care or contact lens sales experience is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical launch experience is preferred.
- Start-up experience is a plus.
