Responsibilities
Determine and present potential engineered solutions for customer applications, and coordinate application testing with the customer.
Establish professional relationships with appropriate customer and vendor personnel, including purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel.
Partner with internal departments, customers, and vendors to ensure customer needs are addressed.
Participate in periodic meetings to maintain technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and use technology effectively to manage the territory.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and grow sales in the assigned territory.
Travel frequently each day within the assigned territory and make occasional overnight trips for training and business meetings.

This role drives the sales process with existing and prospective customers within an assigned territory and collaborates with the customer’s engineering team to specify, qualify, and develop manufacturing processes for specialty chemical solutions.
