Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in electrical systems inspection
  • OSHA 30 Certificate
Responsibilities
  • Inspect electrical installations (wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, grounding) for compliance with NEC, IEC, and project specifications
  • Verify materials and components (cables, breakers, panels, transformers) meet approval and spec requirements
  • Ensure proper installation of: Cable routing and terminations, Panel and switchgear layout, Conduit installation and bending, Equipment grounding and bonding, Earthing systems, Firestopping and sealing
  • Witness and review testing procedures including: Insulation resistance (Megger), continuity, ground resistance, high-voltage, loop impedance, and RCD testing
  • Functional testing of control panels and automation systems
  • Confirm operation of emergency systems (generators, UPS, fire alarms, emergency lighting)
  • Generate daily reports via ASITE system
  • Complete inspection checklists, test results, and as-built drawings
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformances (NCRs), and corrective actions
  • Coordinate with construction teams, QA/QC Resident Engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Participate in site meetings, audits, and punch list walks
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and other safety codes
  • Monitor adherence to LOTO and electrical hazard control procedures
  • Report and follow up on safety concerns and hazards
