Requirements
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Mechatronics.
- Two to six years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in C for microcontrollers.
- Relevant experience developing application software for electronic control units and displays, machine control functions, and hydraulic aggregates used in off-highway machinery such as wheel loaders, excavators, and tractors.
- Relevant experience in embedded software engineering using C, MATLAB/Simulink, CANalyzer, and ETAS INCA.
- Experience developing control devices and implementing safety functions according to relevant standards for mobile machines such as wheel loaders, excavators, and tractors.
- Strong instrumentation fundamentals, including sensors, actuators, and communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of CAN standards and protocols, including SAE J1939, CAN FD, ISOBUS, and LIN.
- Knowledge of diagnostics, including UDS and KWP 2000, and EEPROM, SPI, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Knowledge of tools and scripting languages such as CANoe, CANalyzer, CAPL, and Perl.
- Embedded software debugging skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrohydraulics, including pumps, motors, and proportional valves.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform application engineering for BODAS Bosch Rexroth Mobile Electronics products and solutions.
- Develop control software for mobile machines, including off-highway machines such as wheel loaders, excavators, and tractors, using Bosch Rexroth electronic control units and displays, C compilers, and CoDeSys IEC 61131-standard programming tools.
- Design application solutions for customer and application requirements using Bosch Rexroth BODAS mobile electronics products, including electronic control units, displays, sensors, joysticks, application software modules, and Internet of Things products.
- Participate in customer project discussions to gather and finalize detailed requirements and obtain project sign-off.
- Prepare technical documentation in accordance with Bosch Rexroth internal processes.
- Provide customers with technical training on Bosch Rexroth BODAS mobile electronics products and software and system solutions.
- Use experience and feedback from supported projects to define requirements for further development or upgrades and for the associated development environment, including bug fixes and integration of additional requirements.
- Commission and test projects and solutions on site at customer factories and conduct end-customer field trials across India.
