Overview:

The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs. This will include group health, FSA, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. The position will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s employee benefits programs are administered and communicated effectively. This position will be located in our corporate office in Beverly Hills and will report to the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits for US and Global programs such as medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, retirement plans, disability, life insurance, etc.
• Communicate the details of the organization’s benefits programs to employees, including enrollment procedures, eligibility requirements, and benefit options.
• Respond to employee benefit inquiries in the Benefits email box.
• Facilitate the enrollment process for new hires, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
• Generate standard reports and audit benefits deductions, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans.
• Partner with Payroll, HR, and benefits vendors to gather necessary information, process employee data, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Support the annual Open Enrollment process and coordinate benefits meetings and health fairs.
• Conduct new hire benefits orientations.
• Assist in implementing new benefits plans, programs, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll on leave of absence cases, ensuring a synchronized approach to employee support
• Assist the Benefits Manager with other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of benefits administration in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable Federal and State regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, and Medicare
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

The base salary range for this position is $66,560-$75,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
