The Bank Tech Technical Delivery Excellence (TEDx) organization is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Project Manager to join the Portfolio Delivery Operations team. As a Manager of Project Management, you will be uniquely positioned to have line of sight and influence over the most strategic and complex initiatives within Bank Tech’s PEX & RCE portfolios, with impacts across multiple lines of business. You will be focused on partnering with lines of business and horizontal Technology teams to identify, draft, measure and track portfolio-level Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), while helping them flawlessly execute their top priorities. You will leverage agile methodologies while ensuring well-managed, timely and effective delivery. You will also escalate, and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning respective programs to ensure appropriate execution. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded candidate to help boldly model the future of the Retail Consumer Engineering (RCE) & Platform Excellence (PEX) Portfolios Strategic Initiatives, OKRs, ETBS & TT.
Specific responsibilities related to this role include:
Maintains the ‘master’ list of initiatives, OKRs, TT and ETB commitments to be monitored at the portfolio level for planning and delivery health, including EWI, DWIs and SIPP initiatives
Partners with Product and Technical Program Managers in identifying, drafting, measuring and tracking portfolio-level Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) while providing updates to leadership on a regular cadence
Drives processes for monitoring and change management most effectively for Retail Tech and Product leaders
Identify areas for innovation and continuous process improvements and subsequently drives the prioritization and implementation of those changes
Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams
Uses common tools and processes, to inform the delivery objectives across Tech
Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
Exceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done
Effectively applying project management methodology and standards, and ensuring project documents are complete and up to date
Displaying cross-functional teamwork, communication, negotiation and leading across all levels
Partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Working with cross functional teams and influencing others to work toward common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints
Creating transparency and fostering relationships to adjacent teams
General Responsibilities:
Proven ability to drive strategy
Proven track record of defining & maintaining organizational OKRs
Understanding of financial systems and technology processes
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
High degree of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously; prioritizes based on impact and makes difficult tradeoffs to meet deadlines
Effective communicator – ability to create clarity amongst diverse groups from team members to stakeholders
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills – ability to establish metrics, define OKRs and utilize data to measure operational efficiency, team health, and partnership effectiveness
Asks the tough questions and challenges the status quo
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 6 years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
7+ years of Project Management experience
2+ years of experience defining & maintaining Objectives & Key Results (OKRs)
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and influencing skills
