About the job
- Technical training at BEP, vocational baccalaureate, or BTS level, preferably in industrial maintenance or construction/agricultural equipment maintenance.
- Professional mechanical experience and experience with construction and public-works equipment.
- Rigor, customer-service orientation, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ensure the technical condition, safety, and presentation of rental equipment.
- Guarantee workshop safety and work organization, including scheduling, interventions, and equipment repairs.
- Plan workshop and equipment-yard team activity and manage intervention priorities.
- Train the workshop team when necessary or propose training.
- Conduct a weekly equipment-yard review with the yard and branch managers.
- Prepare quotations and supplier purchase orders and optimize purchases against the annual budget.
- Check the conformity of purchased parts and services upon receipt.
- Schedule periodic maintenance and regulatory inspections with customers and manage their follow-up.
- Maintain workshop activity-tracking documents, including revision checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Report work progress against established objectives.
- Manage the inventory of parts and consumables.
- Perform equipment maintenance and repairs and ensure proper completion of regulatory inspections.
- Diagnose breakdowns and perform on-site repairs when necessary.
- Inspect interventions and repairs completed by subcontractors.
