Requirements
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Agile Product Management or Product Ownership, including 1–2 years specifically managing AI, Machine Learning, or data-heavy software products.
  • A foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, including Generative Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and predictive modeling, as well as the data science lifecycle.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with full stack developers, data scientists, and engineers without needing to code.
  • Proven experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • The ability to analyze data, interpret performance metrics, and make data-driven product decisions.
  • The ability to communicate and present complex technical Artificial Intelligence concepts in understandable business terms.
  • The ability to provide a non-cellular high-speed internet service such as fiber, DSL, or cable modem for a home office.
  • A minimum internet speed of 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload is required.
  • An internet latency response time below 80 ms is required.
  • Hotspots, satellite internet, and wireless internet services are not allowed.
  • A dedicated space without ongoing interruptions is required to protect member protected health information and HIPAA information.
Responsibilities
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Artificial Intelligence capabilities across G.E.H.A.’s ecosystem.
  • Evaluate internal workflows and member touchpoints to identify opportunities for predictive analytics, generative Artificial Intelligence, and automation.
  • Ensure Artificial Intelligence products support member retention, cost reduction, and healthcare outcome improvement.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the Artificial Intelligence product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Demos, Reviews, and Retrospectives, to ensure clarity on goals and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing expectations and providing updates on Artificial Intelligence product progress.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure Artificial Intelligence models adhere to HIPAA regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical Artificial Intelligence guidelines, including bias mitigation and model explainability.
  • Collaborate with change management and operations teams to support rollout, training, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence tools.
  • Establish metrics for Artificial Intelligence product success, including model accuracy, user adoption rates, efficiency gains, and member satisfaction.
  • Partner with operations to monitor production performance, gather user feedback and system data, and drive iterative enhancements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in healthcare, health insurance, or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal employee health benefit programs is preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute Certification, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with cloud-based AI/ML platforms such as Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, or AWS SageMaker is preferred.
  • Experience with modern data architecture such as Kafka, Snowflake, or Fabric is preferred.
