Requirements
- An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or four years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- At least two years of experience providing administrative and physical security for a government agency.
- At least two years of experience in a customer-supporting role.
- Knowledge of intrusion detection systems, UL 2050-certified intrusion detection systems, government-approved devices, safes, storage containers, locks, locking systems, and personnel entry control systems.
- Working knowledge of JPAS, DISS, and Scattered Castles.
- A TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with physical-security walkthroughs and inspections.
- Conduct security indoctrinations into sensitive and classified programs.
- Schedule polygraphs, investigate and report security violations, and review and submit security-clearance background investigations.
- Administer and submit fingerprints and prepare foreign-born waiver packages.
- Perform other personnel-security tasks.
- Program badges and verify security badges within 24 hours of request.
- Provide visitor escorting services as needed and provide front-desk support.
- Participate in meetings and provide subject-matter expertise.
- Conduct security walkthroughs when closing the facility.
