Description:
We are looking for an individual who can work as a Software Operator for our Semi Automated Offside Technology product. Overall, this role is responsible for ensuring the continued development and success of SAOT. You will work in a live environment to apply software expertise to aid in matchday situations. Specifically, this role will:
- Work with the operations team according to the flow of live play and the system.
- Master and have complete command over the entire SAOT system and processes.
- Analyse live tracks, validate markings, and provide QA as necessary for all system events.
Qualifications:
- Extreme attentiveness.
- Knowledge and experience with definitional football terms.
- Proactively communicative.
- A strong tolerance for repetitive tasks.
- Prior experience with making time-critical judgment calls regarding live data processing, engineering support.
- Enforcement of self-accountability and the performance of a large team.
- A background working with football refereeing terms or ideally, as a referee, would be desirable but not essential.
Additional Position Details:
- Must be able and available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must possess flexibility, including early morning and late evenings.
- Must be within an hour of West London.
