About the job
- Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a comparable technical field.
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation, energy distribution, renewable energy, industrial plants, mechanical engineering, rail vehicles, or comparable technical environments.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating construction sites professionally and on schedule with diverse suppliers, such as building, automation, switchgear, transformer, and electrical installation suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations, such as VOB, HOAI, and VDE, or willingness to learn them.
- Authorization to switch and operate systems up to 30 kV.
- Confidence in professional interactions, strong communication skills, commitment, and flexibility.
- High willingness to travel because assignments are located throughout Germany.
- Coordinate, plan, and lead the installation and commissioning of rectifier substations for customers on site throughout Germany.
- Support projects from implementation through final acceptance and organize and lead assembly teams on site.
- Monitor that work is performed professionally, on schedule, and to the required quality in accordance with planning documents, standards, and regulations.
- Perform electrical protection and functional tests on medium-voltage switchgear up to 30 kV, direct-current switchgear up to 3 kV, transformers, and low-voltage systems.
- Diagnose faults and develop effective solutions to resolve disruptions.
- Prepare construction plans, invoice construction services, and conduct acceptances.
- Coordinate and monitor suppliers on the construction site.
- Regularly coordinate with customers, service providers, and authorities.
- Experience managing customer projects.
- Advanced knowledge of computer-aided engineering and computer-aided design systems, proficiency with technical documentation, and experience with Microsoft Project.
- Basic knowledge of automation technology; IEC 61850 is a plus.
- Advanced understanding of quality assurance processes.
- Independent, flexible, reliable working style, resilience, and decisiveness.
- Good German and English language skills for collaboration in an international environment.
