Responsibilities

• As a founding PD, you'll be the owner of designing the entire visual experience of Simplify to create the best possible experience for job seekers
• You will work closely with our product, engineering, and growth teams to convert (often early stage) ideas into designs
• You'll be talking to users to identify problems and turn-around elegant design solutions
• You'll create experiences that help hundreds of thousands of job seekers across all industries discover and land their next opportunity

Requirements

• Formal education or past experience doesn’t matter to us – your ability to execute and take ownership is what we care about
• You're excited about working at an early-stage startup (~10 people) to take full ownership of everything design related
• You're a good storyteller. Visual design is important, but being ability to communicate the designs and educate users is equally as important
• Experience navigating complex design challenges highlighting your end-to-end design process from concept through pixel-perfect designs
• You ship designs fast and iterate fast – we're a super fast-moving team! :)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for detailed articulations of strategy, process, and working with engineering teams to deliver results

Desirable

• Experience working as a designer at a small startup taking full-ownership is preferred but not required!
