Trimedx named Visionary Leader for Healthcare Infrastructure Cybersecurity.

Trimedx named Visionary Leader for Healthcare Infrastructure Cybersecurity. The clinical asset performance company earned a 5 Innovation Index score, with Frost & Sullivan citing its integration of cybersecurity, medical device data, and lifecycle management. Trimedx has been named a Visionary Leader in the Frost Radar: Healthcare Infrastructure Cybersecurity in the United States, 2026 report from Frost & Sullivan, recognizing the clinical asset performance company for its work linking medical device cybersecurity with healthcare technology management (HTM). Frost & Sullivan evaluated more than 50 qualified participants and selected 15 companies - Akamai Technologies, Armis, Axonius, Check Point Technologies, Cisco, Claroty, CrowdStrike, Forescout, Fortinet, IBM, Illumio, Imprivata, Ordr, Palo Alto Networks, and Trimedx - for inclusion based on growth, innovation leadership, and measurable market impact. Visionary Leaders are companies that demonstrate a balance of innovation and growth, deliver new technologies, business models, and processes, and combine strategic vision with operational execution. Trimedx received an Innovation Index score of 5 and a Growth Index score of 4, on a scale of 0 to 5. "This recognition validates the importance of connecting medical device cybersecurity with the broader operational and clinical realities health systems manage every day," says Trimedx CEO Neil de Crescenzo, in a release. "Identifying a vulnerability is only the beginning. Trimedx brings together technology, data, and people to help healthcare organizations understand risk, prioritize the most meaningful actions, and execute remediation in complex clinical environments. That combination helps our clients strengthen resilience while maintaining focus on patient care." Scale of the cybersecurity program. Frost & Sullivan highlighted the scale of the Trimedx cybersecurity program, which supports more than 7,000 locations and approximately 825,000 medical devices. The company performs nearly 10,000 medical device patches each month, and its cybersecurity business has grown by more than 20% annually for at least the past three years, according to the report. The report also recognized Trimedx for drawing on nearly 30 years of medical device service experience and a structured repository of service history from more than 7.4 million devices to support AI-enabled capabilities across cybersecurity, clinical asset management, and capital planning. "Trimedx occupies a distinctive position in healthcare infrastructure cybersecurity because it combines cybersecurity expertise, extensive medical device data, and the ability to execute remediation activities inside clinical environments," says Alejandra Maria Parra, senior research analyst at Frost & Sullivan, in a release. "Its ability to connect cyber-risk with healthcare technology management and operational execution creates a differentiated approach to helping health systems protect medical devices and strengthen resilience." Frost & Sullivan noted that Trimedx extends into the operational "last mile," including patch deployment, risk treatment, governance, and medical device lifecycle management, describing the convergence of cybersecurity and HTM as a difficult-to-replicate advantage in medical device security. "Health systems need more than information about potential cyber-risk. They need a clear path from intelligence to action," says Jason Henley, Trimedx president of cybersecurity, in a release. "Trimedx combines a deep understanding of medical devices with cybersecurity expertise, clinical engineering execution, and AI-enabled intelligence to help clients move from identifying risk to addressing it."

Trimedx introduces agentic AI capabilities that reduce medical device cybersecurity remediation time by 75%. New TMX Protect capabilities deliver up to 95% identification and matching accuracy across connected medical devices, helping health systems more quickly identify and address cybersecurity risk. August 26, 2026 10:30 ET | Source: Trimedx Indianapolis, Indiana, Aug. 26, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Trimedx has introduced new agentic AI capabilities within the TMX Protect platform that help health systems more quickly identify, prioritize, and address medical device cybersecurity risks, reducing remediation time for cybersecurity projects by 75% on average. The new capabilities address a growing challenge for health systems: more than 50% of connectable medical devices have known critical vulnerabilities, while 99% of hospitals manage connected medical devices with known, exploited vulnerabilities. TMX Protect gives health systems greater visibility into these risks and helps cybersecurity teams determine where to focus their efforts. TMX Protect combines extensive medical device cybersecurity data, risk intelligence, and workflow capabilities in a single platform, with up to 95% identification and matching accuracy across connected medical devices. New agentic AI capabilities allow users to interact with this intelligence using natural-language prompts, quickly surfacing the information needed to assess risk and take action. Combined with Trimedx's medical device and vulnerability intelligence, these capabilities reduce remediation time for cybersecurity projects by 75% on average. Healthcare cybersecurity teams can ask questions about their connected medical devices, identify which assets present the greatest risk, generate reports and risk assessments, and prioritize remediation efforts based on both cybersecurity and clinical considerations. The platform also helps organizations track remediation activities and identify appropriate mitigation strategies for vulnerabilities that may not have a manufacturer-approved patch. "Health systems are managing an increasingly complex landscape of connected medical devices and cybersecurity threats. With more than 50% of connected medical devices having a known critical vulnerability, teams need better ways to identify and prioritize risk," says Trimedx Chief Data and AI Officer Srilekha Akula. "The new agentic AI capabilities within TMX Protect help turn large volumes of device and vulnerability data into actionable insights, enabling teams to prioritize what matters most and take steps that strengthen security while supporting patient care." Powered by Trimedx's extensive cybersecurity data and intelligent insights, TMX Protect helps healthcare systems move beyond simply identifying vulnerabilities to understanding risk, prioritizing action, and accelerating remediation efforts. In addition to providing greater visibility into cybersecurity posture, TMX Protect helps cybersecurity analysts work more efficiently by streamlining risk reduction planning, improving prioritization, and accelerating access to the information needed to make effective decisions. By combining AI-native insights with Trimedx's cybersecurity expertise and proprietary data, TMX Protect enables health systems to take a more proactive, risk-based approach to protecting connected medical devices and supporting patient care.
