Requirements
  • Experienced at building and maintaining platform tooling at a SaaS company. Ideally, in the frontend platform space.
  • Several years of professional experience with React and ideally Typescript.
  • You have successfully led a team as an Engineering Manager with highly experienced engineers that are possibly more technically experienced than yourself.
  • Excited to read the code, understand the product area, and give applicable technical mentorship.
  • Excited to do some hands-on engineering work.
  • Thrives in a fast paced, customer focused, and strategic environment.
  • You have hired a successful team member before.
  • You have mentored an individual to become a technical leader on the team.

Responsibilities
  • You collaborate closely with the leaders in our Frontend Platform organization to craft a vision and strategy to help us build a best in class platform for our end customers and engineers.
  • You will be responsible for hiring new engineering team members as we continue to grow our team.
  • You will be responsible for managing a team that has success in operating in high parallel against projects.
  • As an Engineering Manager, you will own day-to-day operations, help the engineers on your team grow their careers.
  • Lead the day to day execution of the team through standup, retros, and other team processes.
