Requirements

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
A Professional Engineer license is required, with the ability to acquire a Connecticut Professional Engineer license within six months.
At least twelve years of transportation project engineering experience focused on design are required.
Past experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, or Design Manager is required.
Experience with local clients such as CTDOT, MassDOT, NHDOT, MEDOT, Amtrak, MNR, or NYSDOT is required.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary design team is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

Manage project delivery for medium-value or moderately complex projects.
Manage the project plan and resource requests.
Provide overall supervision and tracking of project deliverables and finances.
Ensure project activities and submissions adhere to the Quality Management Plan.
Ensure project activities and submissions adhere to firm technical policies.
Supervise the project team.
Participate in proposals for opportunity pursuits by developing the management approach and cost.
Prepare project scope, schedule, and budget.
Foster teamwork by identifying project assignments for work-sharing.
Coordinate with other business units through project assignment work-sharing.
Attend project meetings to present specific aspects of work assignments.

Desired Qualifications
