- Experience in swimming or aquatics.
- Current Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- Current Red Cross First Aid for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- Current Red Cross Lifeguard certification.
- Maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, on the deck, and in surrounding areas.
- Ensure the safety of all members during pool operating hours by remaining on deck, actively patrolling the pool area, constantly remaining alert and scanning, and enforcing all pool rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Apply rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures.
