About the job

Requirements
  • At least five years of hands-on Zendesk administration and production configuration experience on Enterprise plans, including triggers, automations, macros, SLA policies, ticket forms, custom fields and objects, and omnichannel routing.
  • Understand trigger firing order, how to prevent loops, and why tag taxonomy matters.
  • Experience running or significantly contributing to a Zendesk instance serving multiple brands, markets, or languages, with concrete examples of what broke at scale and how it was fixed.
  • Configured at least two of the following: Talk or another contact-center voice channel (IVR, contact flows); Messaging with bot flows; or a multi-language Help Center (content structure, permissions, theming basics).
  • Understand REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth and API keys, and JSON payloads; independently read API documentation and discuss integration requirements precisely with engineers.
  • Work effectively in a roughly 70/30 technical-business role, gathering requirements, challenging workflows that will not scale, and explaining technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Be comfortable with repeated market rollouts, thorough testing, documenting deviations, go-lives, and hypercare periods.
  • Communicate clearly in written English and leave documentation that others can use.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain Zendesk Support, Guide, Talk, and Messaging configurations, including ticket fields and forms, groups, views, macros, triggers, automations, SLA policies, omnichannel routing, brands, roles, and permissions.
  • Maintain a sandbox-to-production workflow and keep the Zendesk instance clean and scalable across 30 markets, preventing configuration sprawl.
  • Configure voice through Zendesk Talk on Amazon Connect, including IVR and contact flows, as well as email, webforms, messaging, and Help Center for each market in the local language, following the global blueprint and adapting to genuine market-specific rules.
  • For each market rollout, translate the migration plan into configuration, replicate the blueprint, apply market-specific settings, run test cycles with local teams, support go-live and hypercare, and hand over to steady-state operations.
  • Configure marketplace apps and webhooks; define requirements and test custom API integrations with Flix backend systems and AI-driven contact channels, while engineering teams build and own the integrations.
  • Collaborate daily with business subject-matter experts, the training lead, IT engineering, and the project lead on rules, processes, agent readiness, integrations, security, and rollout plans.
  • Document configuration and market-specific deviations to Centre of Excellence standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Zendesk Admin certification.
  • Experience migrating from Salesforce Service Cloud or a similar platform.
  • Zendesk Apps Framework experience.
