WMS Engineer
About the job
- A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent qualification is required.
- Three to five years of relevant experience supporting business applications and operational processes, with a strong aptitude for application systems and business process development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional groups.
- Hands-on experience supporting and implementing Manhattan WMOS (Warehouse Management for Open Systems) applications.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL is required.
- Good working knowledge of at least one of the listed programming languages: Java, Python, C, or C++.
- Ability to troubleshoot application issues, support implementations, and assist with production deployments.
- Familiarity with quality assurance, user acceptance testing, production releases, and post-implementation support processes.
- Gather and document requirements for internal and external systems.
- Analyze and map existing business processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to support solution development and implementation.
- Assist with quality assurance and user acceptance testing to validate developed solutions.
- Deploy solutions to production after successful completion of quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
- Provide post-go-live support to ensure solution stability and resolve production issues.
- Experience in the retail and e-commerce industries.
- Experience with Manhattan WMOS SCPP, version 2011 or later.
- Experience with Manhattan Active.
- Experience with Manhattan suite products, including Labor Management, Yard Management, and Slotting.
- Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment integration and robotics systems with Manhattan WMOS.
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: UNIX, Linux, Java, Python, C, C++, Oracle, SQL, or IBM Cognos.
