Requirements
  • Have a minimum of two years of recent combined experience in antepartum care, the delivery room, and postpartum care.
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ with a valid nursing license.
  • Have current CPR certification.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical follow-up and monitoring for patients during antepartum, including high-risk pregnancies and late-pregnancy follow-up.
  • Manage labor and actively assist the physician or midwife during delivery.
  • Provide postoperative or immediate recovery care for the mother and newborn during postpartum.
  • Assess the newborn's health at birth and educate new parents about breastfeeding and infant care.
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to obstetric or neonatal emergencies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Training or practical experience in neonatal resuscitation.
