FICS launches LoanLogix IQ to automate mortgage loan approvals in Loan Producer

Financial Industry Computer Systems, Inc. (FICS) has launched LoanLogix IQ, software that automates common tasks in the mortgage loan approval process. The tool is built into its residential loan origination product, Loan Producer. Lenders create decision criteria from their own underwriting guidelines and closing conditions, then group them into frameworks that automate each step of the approval workflow. Loans that meet the criteria move to the next step and trigger notifications; those that fall short generate explanations and follow-up tasks. A 2025 STRATMOR survey found more lenders want to move away from external robotic process automation and use built-in tools instead. "Lenders want automation that works inside their LOS," said chief technology officer Aaron Lynch.
