About the job
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll management, compensation, and benefits administration.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software, specifically Pylon, and HRMS technical skills, including the ability to generate and analyze reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and taxation related to payroll and benefits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English, and the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to engage in professional development activities to develop and improve skills and adapt to evolving organizational needs.
- Contribute to developing operational policies and procedures concerning compensation, employee relations, and benefit programs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, facilitate accurate salary processing, and manage employee benefits and compensation packages efficiently.
- Oversee timely and accurate company payroll preparation and processing, ensuring employee working hours, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and tax information are correct and up to date.
- Handle payroll-related employee queries and resolve issues promptly while ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee compensation in all countries where the company operates, directly or through third parties.
- Design and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, policies, and guidelines that are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with market standards and company objectives.
- Develop and manage the annual salary review process, coordinating with HR Business Partners and line managers to complete salary adjustments and bonus schemes accurately and on time.
- Conduct compensation benchmarking to support competitive and fair salary offerings and participate in salary surveys as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for employee compensation and benefits inquiries, providing support regarding concerns or disputes when necessary.
- Manage employee benefits programs and advise HR Business Partners on benefits implementation and interpretation of applicable policies and procedures.
- Monitor trends in employee benefits and recommend improvements to existing plans.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to coordinate compensation and benefits initiatives effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings and reports on time, and maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll, compensation, and benefits records.
- Analyze payroll data and trends to assess cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for senior management on payroll, compensation, and benefits expenditures.
