Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a specialized field of study.
  • Four years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in molecular and cell biology techniques.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
  • Ability to monitor important and complex projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lotus Notes or other email software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including writing and preparing memorandums, letters, and other official correspondence.
Responsibilities
  • Perform technical or narrative research by designing, modifying, and collaborating with the primary investigator regarding research protocols and methodology.
  • Plan, design, and implement research experiments according to established protocols to support project goals and ensure high-quality scientific results.
  • Conduct experiments and studies, assess outcomes, and adapt continued studies based on findings.
  • Present data in organized, readable formats, including written reports and graphical summaries.
  • Account for relevant supplies and order them as needed for each project.
  • Conduct library and topical research pertinent to projects.
  • Write and prepare final papers to support findings and submit evidence for publication.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, rules, and regulations, including federal, state, and local standards and codes related to safety and ethics.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in epigenetic or genomic profiling.
