Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in large-scale Finance and Accounting transformation, consulting, or business process outsourcing, including a clear sales or revenue component.
  • At least 5 years of deep domain experience in Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, or Financial Planning and Analysis.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full deal lifecycle from pursuit and origination through shaping, oral presentations, workshops, co-design, and project execution for global enterprise clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Chief Financial Officers, Chief Accounting Officers, and Finance leadership, influencing strategy and generating new opportunities through insight and credibility.
  • Apply agentic artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, and emerging enterprise resource planning and ecosystem technologies to reinvent Finance and Accounting operating models with clear value outcomes.
  • Translate complex transformation programs into commercially clear narratives that win client Chief Financial Officer confidence and close large-scale managed services deals.
  • Act as a recognized specialist in at least one Finance and Accounting tower—Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, or Financial Planning and Analysis—leading process re-engineering, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence integration within that domain.
  • Contribute to market-facing points of view on Finance Reinvention, artificial intelligence in Finance and Accounting, and the future of the Finance function, and elevate the firm's presence at industry forums.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • Previous external consulting experience.
  • A proven track record leading and closing large Finance consulting or managed services deals.
  • Demonstrated artificial intelligence fluency, including the ability to design and articulate artificial-intelligence-first operating models rather than merely reference artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Hands-on experience deploying agentic artificial intelligence, generative artificial intelligence, or intelligent automation in a Finance context.
  • Deep familiarity with leading enterprise resource planning and Finance and Accounting platforms, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, and Coupa.
  • Industry expertise in Consumer Goods, Industrials, or Financial Services.
  • Experience structuring and winning Finance and Accounting managed services contracts.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.
