About the Job

Requirements

  • A degree from an engineering school or equivalent education is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Participation in a Data project, such as Big Data or business intelligence, is required.
  • A Databricks certification is required.
  • Preferred: Significant Databricks experience, including at least two projects.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in Spark using PySpark or Scala.
  • Preferred: Streaming expertise.
  • Preferred: Strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Machine Learning and MLOps.
  • Preferred: DevOps practices, including Git and CI/CD.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and DQX.

Responsibilities

  • Design cloud data architectures using Azure and Databricks.
  • Develop performant data pipelines using Spark, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Optimize data processing for performance, cost, and scalability.
  • Implement data and DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, data quality, and security.
  • Support client teams in their transformation through skills development, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
  • Contribute to key technology decisions.
