About the job

Requirements
  • California licensure to practice law.
  • At least 3 years of experience in general litigation, business litigation, and/or financial services litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Experience independently handling cases and analyzing and researching complex legal issues.
  • Experience structuring discovery plans, taking and defending depositions, managing document-intensive cases, drafting dispositive motions, and preparing for trial.
  • Strong work ethic and passion for advocacy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
Responsibilities
  • Independently handle cases and take on significant responsibility for client matters.
  • Analyze and research complex legal issues.
  • Structure discovery plans.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage document-intensive cases.
  • Draft dispositive motions.
  • Prepare for trial.
  • Represent and interact with clients in litigation matters.
  • Build a legal practice on a diversified, multi-state platform.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in business, general liability, or financial services litigation is preferred.
  • Experience representing clients in the financial industry.
