At least 5 years of residential HVAC service experience is preferred.
EPA certification is required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical school or apprenticeship is preferred.
A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
Knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, heating, and air conditioning systems is required.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills are required.
Ability to work independently and closely with other technicians is required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, squat, kneel, reach, push, and pull is required.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
Identify potential replacement opportunities and generate qualified leads for Comfort Advisors.
Complete service paperwork and documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and service vehicle.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, management, and other technicians.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
