Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operating room operations to ensure efficient patient flow and on-time case starts.
  • Coordinate staffing and team coverage to support surgical schedules.
  • Ensure supplies, instrumentation, and equipment are available and ready for scheduled cases.
  • Partner with physicians and clinical teams to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop clinical teammates.
  • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate on cost-effective supply management.
  • Assist with vendor relationships, equipment evaluations, and purchasing decisions.
  • Support accreditation, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational improvements and strategic goals.
  • Participate in budgeting and capital equipment planning.
  • Oversee daily operations of the surgical suite, including workflow, appropriate staffing, equipment readiness, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and team development.
  • Serve as an operational partner to the Director of Nursing and Administrator in maintaining a high-performing surgical environment.

  • Previous supervisory, charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience.
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center experience.
  • Experience with surgical services staffing, inventory management, and physician collaboration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
