Responsibilities
  • Own the planning, coordination, and execution of user acceptance testing across assigned releases and projects.
  • Independently lead business analysis for assigned small to moderate initiatives, from requirements discovery through implementation and validation, filling remaining capacity around user acceptance testing priorities.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and cross-functional meetings with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Elicit, document, and drive approval of clear, complete, and testable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Business Systems Analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into user acceptance testing plans and scenarios.
  • Develop and maintain user acceptance testing plans, entry and exit criteria, readiness checklists, and schedules.
  • Recruit, prepare, and guide business users who serve as user acceptance testing testers.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing scenarios, defects, and business validation.
  • Track user acceptance testing execution, defects, and resolution status, and report regularly on testing health.
  • Facilitate defect triage and communication between business testers, Business Systems Analysts, and engineering.
  • Manage user acceptance testing sign-off, approvals, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Coordinate test environment and test data readiness with technical teams.
  • Demonstrate completed solutions to stakeholders and confirm delivered functionality meets business intent.
  • Maintain user acceptance testing and requirements documentation, templates, and standards, driving continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in mortgage lending, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending processes, including origination, processing, underwriting, closing or funding, and post-closing.
  • Experience with debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) or other business-purpose lending.
  • Experience with Loan Origination Systems or similar lending technology, including product and pricing eligibility, rules engines, workflow design, or underwriting conditions.
  • Experience coordinating formal user acceptance testing cycles involving multiple business stakeholders or non-technical testers.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to write basic SQL queries or otherwise perform data validation.
