About Us
Axelera AI is not your regular deep-tech company. We design AI inference silicon spanning edge and enterprise deployments, built on a low-power architecture that delivers strong performance-per-watt from embedded devices up through large-scale inference infrastructure.
In just five years we have raised $450 million and built a team spanning 22 countries. We are headquartered at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven in the Netherlands and we placed No. 3 on Fast Company's 2026 Most Innovative Companies list in the Emerging Enterprise category.
Our September 2026 launch of Europa brought physical and enterprise AI to market through a growing partner ecosystem that includes Dell and Supermicro. That ecosystem is now one of the most important things we have, and it needs someone whose whole job is ensuring it thrives.
Are you up for the challenge?
Position Overview
You will own marketing with our largest global customers and with the customers who have become partners — the OEMs, system builders, and integrators who put Axelera silicon inside the products their own customers purchase.
This is not a channel-program job where you administer MDF and chase logos for a partner page. You will partner with your sales counterparts, sit down with a handful of named accounts, understand what each strategy and how it aligns with Axelera, and build a joint marketing plan that helps them drive our collective business. Then you will execute it: the launch moments, the co-branded content, the event presence, the campaign that runs on their list and ours.
The people you work with on the partner side are marketers with their own targets and their own executives to answer to. Your job is to make Axelera the easiest company they collaborate with all year; executing friction-free, high-impact campaigns where both companies win.
What You'll Do
Qualify, build and run joint marketing plans with a named set of global customers and customer-partners, ensuring every co-marketing effort aligns with Axelera’s strategic goals while delivering clear value to the partner, from goals through to results
Produce the assets those plans need: co-branded campaigns, solution briefs, customer stories, launch content, demand generation
Own partner presence at industry events — booth-in-booth, joint sessions, launch moments, the pre- and post-show follow-through that most people skip
Work with Sales and Product to turn what each partner sells into positioning their buyers understand
Bring partner voices into our launches, and get Axelera into theirs
Report on what worked: pipeline influenced, content used, programs a partner asks to repeat
Represent Axelera in front of partner marketing teams and their executives, in person and often
What You Bring
You need these:
Experience in a partner, channel, or alliance marketing role — you have built joint plans with named partners and taken them to market. You know how to align partner desires with internal business priorities, steering joint opportunities toward mutual commercial return. We move fast, and this is the one thing we cannot teach you on the job
A track record of working with large, structured organizations where marketing decisions pass through several people
Comfort with technical products and the eagerness to learn a new set
Strong writing. You will use AI in a lot of what you do, but you need to know what great writing is and can ensure what is produced meets a very high bar.
Willingness to travel — see below
Helpful, not required:
Semiconductor, hardware, embedded, or AI infrastructure background
Experience working across US and European teams or time zones
A second language
How We Work
Autonomy is real here. You will not have a manager building your calendar or a marketing operations team queued up behind you. You will decide what matters this quarter, say so, and go do it. That includes evaluating partner opportunities with a commercial lens, prioritizing high-ROI initiatives over low-impact noise. People who need structure handed to them find this hard. People who have wanted this kind of room for years tend to do the best work of their careers.
You will use AI every day. We expect it in research, drafting, analysis, and anywhere else it saves you hours. We also think the reason this role exists is that partner marketing runs on trust between specific human beings. The relationship with a partner marketing lead who takes your call, tells you the truth about their roadmap, and goes to bat for you internally is the thing AI cannot do. Use the tools to buy yourself more time for those relationships, not less.
You will learn a lot. Just not the mechanics of this role. You should arrive knowing what great partner marketing looks like, and then help us build out that muscle here. Your experience and knowledge will shape the future of Axelera - this should excite you!
What Success Looks Like in Year One
Joint marketing plans in place and running with your named accounts, with each partner's marketing lead able to say what we are doing together and why
A repeatable co-marketing motion — content, launch support, event presence — that a new partner can be brought into without starting from scratch
Partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline you can point to and explain
Partner presence at the industry events that matter to our verticals
Location
This role is remote in the United States. You should expect to travel roughly 15-20% of the time — partner sites, customer visits, and industry events across the Americas and Europe, with periodic trips to Europe, including our Eindhoven headquarters.
What we offer
This is your chance to shape and be part of a dynamic, fast-growing, international organization. We offer an attractive compensation package, including a pension plan, extensive employee insurances and the option to get company shares.
An open culture that supports creativity and continual innovation is awaiting you. Collaborative ownership and freedom with responsibility is characteristic for the way we act and work as a team.
At Axelera AI, we wholeheartedly embrace equal opportunity and hold diversity in the highest regard. Our steadfast commitment is to cultivate a warm and inclusive environment that empowers and celebrates every member of our team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds to join us in shaping the future of AI.
If you meet the must-haves and are unsure about the rest, we would still like to hear from you.

Axelera AI appoints Osman Kent and Catherine Lewis La Torre CBE as non-executive directors. Veteran GPU pioneer and former British Business Bank CEO join the board as Axelera scales further into enterprise and data center markets Veteran GPU pioneer, Osman Kent and former British Business Bank CEO, Catherine Lewis La Torre join Axelera AI board EINDHOVEN, Netherlands-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Axelera AI, the leading provider of purpose-built AI hardware acceleration technology, today announced the appointments of Osman Kent and Catherine Lewis La Torre CBE to its board as non-executive directors. Together they bring decades of experience building silicon companies and scaling businesses through Europe's private capital markets. "Osman is one of the luminaries of deep tech in Europe and helped invent the GPU, and Catherine has spent 35 years backing and building Europe's innovation economy," said Fabrizio Del Maffeo, CEO and co-founder of Axelera AI. "Their experience will be invaluable as we grow our global commercial scale." Kent co-founded and led 3Dlabs, a one time $1 billion NASDAQ-listed chip company widely credited as one of the earliest architects of the GPU, and later co-founded Numecent. He holds 21 U.S. patents and has been a venture partner at Atlantic Bridge Capital since 2018, focusing on foundational AI and fabless chip companies. "I've been following Axelera since its inception and it is doing for AI inference what 3Dlabs did for graphics: showing the world that Europe can build world leading AI technology companies at commercial scale," said Kent. Lewis La Torre has more than 35 years of experience in private equity and venture capital, including co-founding her own private equity fund management firm in 1999. Between 2016 and 2023 she served as Chief Executive of the British Business Bank and its commercial investment companies, leading the Bank to become the largest domestic institutional investor in venture capital funds and technology companies in the UK and overseeing the delivery of the UK's Covid-19 business support schemes. Axelera AI: data center inference performance in the power envelope of embedded systems. Physical AI is hitting three walls: power, economics, and fragmentation. Fabrizio Del Maffeo explains how to break them. Recorded at the AI Infra Summit 2026 in Santa Clara, California, Axelera AI co-founder and CEO Fabrizio Del Maffeo sits down with EE Times Sally Ward-Foxton on why intelligence was never the bottleneck to AI adoption. Infrastructure is. The three walls to scaling physical AI. Del Maffeo's keynote framed three barriers standing between today's pilots and real deployment. Power and physics. The data center was built for training: persistent, high-wattage, liquid-cooled, and tolerant of moving data long distances. Physical AI is the inverse. Inference happens where data is created - in factories, vehicles, hospitals, and city infrastructure - inside power envelopes measured in tens of watts. Shrinking a training architecture does not fix that, because the dominant cost is not computation; it is data movement. Axelera's Digital In-Memory Compute performs matrix-vector multiplication, roughly 80% of the inference workload, inside the memory cell itself. Less movement, less energy, more work per watt. Partner content.
Axelera AI targets IPO within three to five years. The next step is about commercial execution: turning customers' initial deployments into repeat orders. Published on October 4, 2026 Fabrizio del Maffeo, (C) Axelera AI Team IO+ selects and features the most important news stories on innovation and technology, carefully curated by its editors. The Eindhoven-based AI chip company wants to become a global player. CEO Fabrizio Del Maffeo believes an IPO in North America could be achievable in three years. Expansion in Japan is intended to contribute to that growth. Axelera AI has its sights set on the stock market. In an interview with Japan's Gesher Times, co-founder and CEO Fabrizio Del Maffeo outlines his goal of an IPO in North America within three to five years. He believes three years could be possible. That sets an ambitious timeline for the company, founded in Eindhoven in 2021. He does not specify a listing date or stock exchange. From growth capital to commercial growth. Axelera now has a solid financial foundation to support its international ambitions. In February, the company raised more than $250 million in a funding round led by Innovation Industries. Funds and accounts managed by BlackRock and SiteGround Capital also participated. Since its founding, Axelera has attracted more than $450 million through equity, grants and debt. The money is being used to scale production, expand the partner network and further develop software for customers. In September, Axelera reported that more than 600 customers worldwide were deploying its products. With the introduction of its new Europa platform and systems from companies including Dell and Supermicro, it also aims to serve more demanding enterprise applications. The next step towards an IPO is therefore about commercial execution: turning customers' initial deployments into larger, repeat orders. For a chip company with ambitions like these, what ultimately matters is how convincingly it can turn its technology into a business capable of sustained growth. Japan as a growth market. Japan plays an important role in that strategy. Del Maffeo is targeting $100 million in revenue there within five years. The country has strong robotics and factory automation industries, precisely the applications Axelera focuses on. Through a partnership with electronics distributor Marubun, the company aims to expand its access to the Japanese market. Marubun provides more than sales channels. The partner also supports customers with the technical implementation of Axelera's products. That should make the transition from interest to actual use easier. A European alternative with global ambitions. The promise to customers is simple: run AI applications at lower cost and with less energy consumption. Axelera develops chips that run trained AI models, for example in robots, cameras and industrial systems. The company positions itself as an alternative to established suppliers such as Nvidia. Del Maffeo is already looking beyond the IPO. He sees the potential for Axelera to grow into a company with a market capitalisation of $100 billion to $200 billion within ten years. That ambition makes the next three years pivotal. International expansion, new products and investors give Axelera room to grow. The challenge now is to make the most of that opportunity and build a company that can also earn investors' confidence on the stock market.
Axelera AI launches Europa: Delivers Physical and Enterprise AI through growing Partner Ecosystem including Dell and Supermicro. Purpose-built inference accelerator with robust software toolchain gives enterprises greater control over where and how AI runs, where data goes and what it costs. Axelera AI, an European player in AI acceleration hardware, announced the launch of the Europa architecture with a growing ecosystem of OEM, ODM and technology partners, including validated systems with Dell and Supermicro.Europa, a next-generation AI Processing Unit (AIPU), extends the advantages of Axelera AI's edge-first architecture to more demanding enterprise and data center workloads, giving organizations a practical path to run production AI on infrastructure they control. With a sales pipeline that exceeds $1.5 billion, Axelera's performance per watt leadership is driving customer wins across AI factories and gigafactories in Europe. The company has deployments with more than 600 customers across the globe, spanning defense, robotics, drones, retail and security applications. Inference is recognized as the bulk of the AI compute load, but with rising cloud costs, exponential usage of tokens, power and GPU constraints, and increasingly capable smaller models, the economics of where AI can and should run are changing. Many enterprise applications don't require the largest frontier models or most expensive hardware; they need infrastructure designed to run persistent AI workloads securely and at a cost organizations can sustain. And with up to 6x the tokens per second per watt than GPU-based solutions, customers can reliably deploy within their own environments without sacrificing performance. Axelera products based on the Europa architecture give organizations greater control over where AI runs, where their data goes and what it costs. This is particularly important in Physical AI deployments, and markets such as financial services, healthcare, legal, defense and government, where security, compliance and data sovereignty requirements can limit the use of public cloud AI. "Dell Technologies is working with AI systems integrator E4 and Axelera AI to support the deployment of next-generation AI infrastructure for the EU AI Factories in Italy and Luxembourg. Together, the collaboration brings the performance, control and sovereignty organizations need to advance AI innovation while keeping critical infrastructure and data aligned with Europe's digital autonomy goals," said Peter Barnes, GM, EMEA HPC, Dell Technologies. "AI is an imperative at most companies, but ensuring that an enterprise can get the highest return from the infrastructure while controlling their data is imperative," said Fabrizio Del Maffeo, CEO and co-founder, Axelera AI. "We built our architecture around some of the hardest constraints in computing: power, energy, cost and the need to process data locally. Europa applies those same principles, expanding from Physical to Enterprise AI, giving organizations the performance they need for increasingly sophisticated workloads while keeping control of their data, infrastructure and economics." Built for Modern Enterprise Inference Europa is designed for the growing mix of AI workloads, including agentic systems, vision-language models, generative AI and machine and computer vision. It gives organizations a practical way to add AI inference capacity in existing server environments while addressing real-world power, cost, security and operational constraints. Built on the same architecture principles proven across Axelera AI's existing Embedded, Edge and Server portfolio, Europa brings high-performance, energy-efficient inference to more demanding enterprise workloads. Europa is available as a chip with customers designing their own boards, as a half-height, half-length PCIe card (Axelera Edge 232p) or a full-height, full-length PCIe card (Axelera Server 250p). The standard PCIe form factors enable organizations to add AI capacity without rebuilding their infrastructure around a new platform. A Broader Partner Ecosystem Shipping now, Europa is supported by Axelera AI's growing ecosystem of OEM, technology, software and industry partners. Together, these partners give enterprises a path from AI acceleration hardware to complete, deployable solutions, rather than requiring them to assemble every layer of the stack independently. The Axelera Edge 232p is available in a fully validated Dell XE5 and a Supermicro 111AD. These new systems join the list of validated and available systems with global OEMs including 2CRSi, Advantech, Axiomtek, HPE, Lenovo, Seco and others, with additional systems to be publicly announced soon. Axelera AI's broader partner network helps customers address the full set of requirements involved in scaling their AI solutions, from infrastructure and software to industry-specific applications. As the global ecosystem continues to expand, customers will have more ways to deploy Europa in solutions aligned to their performance, operational and business needs. Simplifying Deployment from Embedded to Edge to Server, Physical or Enterprise AI Axelera AI's Voyager Toolchain helps developers optimize existing AI models for Axelera AI hardware and move more quickly from development to production. Supporting all Axelera AI hardware, Voyager provides a consistent foundation for deploying AI inference from edge devices to enterprise infrastructure. Developers are also welcome to use Voyager Wingman, an agentic platform that can easily port existing inference pipelines, create new pipelines, and optimize code. Model support has been a limiting factor for many customers and silicon providers. Last week, Axelera disclosed its novel approach, and first of it's kind model compilation, AxeleraScript (AxScript).
