Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in technical SEO, web engineering, or a related discipline, including leading technical SEO initiatives across large-scale websites and web applications in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Deep expertise in technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, URL architecture, XML sitemaps, robots directives, structured data, internal linking, hreflang, and JavaScript-based web applications.
  • Hands-on proficiency with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSS to diagnose and implement technical SEO fixes directly in codebases and content management systems.
  • Experience improving web performance and Core Web Vitals, including JavaScript execution, rendering, caching, CDN configuration, images, third-party scripts, APIs, and server performance.
  • Experience building scalable SEO capabilities, automation, monitoring, and continuous integration and continuous delivery quality gates across enterprise content management platforms such as Optimizely and WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of structured data, Schema.org, JSON-LD, semantic HTML, and the technical foundations of AEO and AI-powered search.
  • Strong analytical skills using Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, analytics platforms, and application observability tools.
  • Experience analyzing server logs and crawl logs to identify crawl blocks, indexation gaps, rendering failures, and visibility issues across Google, AI search platforms, and large language model crawlers.
  • Ability to connect technical SEO work to measurable organic visibility, acquisition, pipeline, and revenue outcomes.
  • Ability to influence engineering architecture, establish technical standards, and collaborate with SEO, Web Engineering, Product, Marketing, Content, and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical SEO roadmap and execution across Zoom's global web ecosystem using SEO analysis, audits, crawl data, search performance data, server logs, technical root-cause analysis, and business priorities.
  • Translate SEO and AEO requirements into technical designs, development specifications, production implementations, and ongoing maintenance across Optimizely CMS, WordPress, custom web applications, APIs, and modern frontend frameworks throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Own technical solutions for crawlability, indexability, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonicalization, redirects, URL architecture, metadata, structured data, internal linking, hreflang, JavaScript rendering, client-side rendering, server-side rendering, static generation, incremental rendering, and search-friendly application architecture.
  • Build reusable SEO capabilities including centralized metadata services, automated sitemap generation, structured-data components, redirect services, internal-linking systems, and standardized SEO configurations.
  • Drive Core Web Vitals and web performance improvements involving LCP, INP, CLS, JavaScript execution, rendering performance, image optimization, font loading, third-party scripts, caching, CDN configuration, API performance, and server response times.
  • Develop automated testing, monitoring, dashboards, continuous integration and continuous delivery quality gates, proactive alerting, and validation scripts to prevent technical SEO regressions in production.
  • Establish the technical foundation for AEO and AI search by implementing structured data, semantic HTML, machine-readable metadata, entity and product schemas, and machine-readable endpoints.
  • Evaluate emerging AI-search and agentic-web standards and translate them into practical engineering requirements.
  • Define and maintain technical SEO standards and governance across Optimizely, WordPress, and custom applications through reference architectures, launch-readiness criteria, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Partner with SEO, Content, Product Marketing, Web Engineering, Product, and senior stakeholders to translate search strategy and business priorities into scalable technical solutions and measurable outcomes.

Zoom launches AI-powered revenue OS unifying buyer intelligence and customer conversations

Zoom Communications unveiled its vision for an AI-powered revenue OS, a unified platform connecting buyer intelligence, customer conversations, and revenue execution. The company announced new Zoom Revenue Accelerator capabilities, including Engage and Forecast, alongside the availability of Common Room by Zoom. Engage builds multichannel sales sequences across email and phone, whilst Forecast transforms deal-level signals into live forecasts. The new ZRA Elite offering combines ZRA Premium with these new capabilities. Zoom customer Barracuda Networks reported a 15% increase in deals closed and 5% faster deal velocity using Zoom Revenue Accelerator. IDC recognised Zoom as a Leader in its 2026 MarketScape for unified revenue orchestration. The platform aims to help go-to-market teams move from customer signal to action within one system, leveraging context from customer conversations to drive revenue growth.

Zoom appoints former Oracle CFO Jeff Epstein to board as Jonathan Chadwick retires

Zoom has appointed Jeff Epstein to its board of directors, effective immediately. Epstein previously served as executive vice president and CFO of Oracle and currently works as an operating partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. The company also announced that Jonathan Chadwick will retire from Zoom's board after nearly ten years of service, effective 19 November 2026. Epstein currently serves on the boards of Autodesk, AvePoint, and Twilio. He previously held board positions at Okta, Couchbase, Poshmark, and Shutterstock. Zoom CEO Eric Yuan said Epstein's financial and strategic leadership, particularly in B2B software and vertical AI, makes him a strong addition to the board. Yuan thanked Chadwick for his guidance during major growth periods.

Zoom's $3.13B Anthropic stake boosts AI-first communications platform

Zoom Communications' stake in AI company Anthropic has reached $3.13 billion in value, adding significant weight to its investment portfolio. The company recorded an unrealized gain of $1.61 billion during the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 and added roughly $301 million to its Anthropic position over six months through July. Zoom has also invested $140.2 million in equity securities of other private companies developing AI products. The San Jose-based communications platform provider, with a market capitalisation of nearly $29.4 billion, is positioning itself as an AI-first work platform. The company's enterprise business now grows faster than overall revenue, whilst AI products play an increasingly larger role across its platform. Zoom's shares have climbed 21.8% over the past 52 weeks and gained 14.1% year-to-date.

Zoom falls 6% despite Q2 beat as Q3 profit guidance of $1.47 misses $1.50 estimate

Zoom fell 6% despite beating Q2 expectations, after guiding Q3 profit to $1.47 per share, below the $1.50 Street estimate. The video collaboration company reported Q2 revenue of $1.28 billion, up 4.9% year-on-year, and adjusted earnings per share of $1.55, topping the $1.48 consensus. The drop appears company-specific rather than sector-wide. HubSpot slipped 1% and Monday.com fell 2%, whilst the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF rose 0.1%. Enterprise revenue surged 7.8% to $787.5 million, its strongest growth in three years, accounting for 62% of total revenue. Online revenue grew just 0.6% to $489.7 million. Zoom raised its full-year revenue guidance to $5.085 billion to $5.095 billion.

Zoom reports Q2 revenue of $1.3B, up 5% YoY, with Enterprise growing 7.8%

Zoom Communications reported second quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $1.28 billion, up 4.9% year over year. Enterprise revenue grew 7.8% to $787.5 million, its strongest growth rate in three years. The company's GAAP net income surged to $1.54 billion, or $5.15 per share, compared to $358.6 million in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP operating margin reached 40.0%. Zoom repurchased approximately 3.7 million shares during the quarter. The number of customers contributing more than $100,000 in trailing 12-month revenue increased 8.2% year over year. CEO Eric Yuan highlighted strong adoption of the company's AI-first Customer Experience portfolio, with Zoom Virtual Agent customer count increasing 256% year over year. Free cash flow totalled $472.4 million for the quarter.
