Requirements
  • Experienced in 2+ years of event management experience executing lead generating events, in a high-tech, fast-paced environment
  • Able to identify trends, troubleshoot, escalate, track, and resolve issues by strategically thinking and balancing a broad range of internal and external factors
  • Capable of managing both time and event budgets effectively
  • Able to handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally while juggling a variety of projects and deadlines
  • Team-oriented with a positive and personable attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand on feet for extended periods of time during the event
  • Willing to travel up to 50% (both domestic/international) and work a flexible schedule as needed (evenings/weekends)
Responsibilities
  • Execute Datadog's presence at sponsored events, both virtually and in person
  • Manage and enact trade show promotional plans intended to maximize company exposure and produce sales leads
  • Captain our events by managing event logistics from conception to completion, staff, and booth space, and ensuring lead goals are met
  • Manage and track event budgets, expenses, KPIs, and ROI
  • Maintain client and sponsor relationships while managing external communications
  • Prepare and negotiate various service provider and event contracts
  • Work cross functionally with teams to ensure events are on brand, on message, and attracting the right audience
