Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the commercial real estate and finance industries.

Interns are placed on one of two rotation tracks, Investor Relations/Portfolio Management or Asset Management/Originations, based on firm need and candidate fit, as determined after the interview and resume review process. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the underwriting process for commercial real estate loans, including financial modeling, market research, and property due diligence.
• Support portfolio management activities by tracking loan performance, updating financial models, and preparing reporting documents.
• Conduct research on real estate markets, property trends, and investment opportunities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on potential lending opportunities and investment strategies.
• Assist with loan documentation, compliance checks, and transaction management.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and presentations for senior management.
• Learn about risk assessment, asset management, and the regulatory environment in the commercial real estate finance sector.

Requirements

• Rising senior in a Bachelor's or first year in a Master’s degree program in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a keen interest in real estate finance.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience in finance, real estate, or investment management is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial real estate concepts, loan structures, and market trends.
