Internship Opportunities
All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office Monday-Friday (relocation services and living stipend provided to all interns).
Potential internship location(s): Sherman Oaks, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Irvine, CA
Data Science (NLP):Help research and develop NLP applications to support game design and development, advancing ML-driven solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of game development.
- Programming expertise in Python
- Knowledge of data systems, relational databases, querying with SQL
- Experience with LLM integration frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar tools)
- Familiar with version control, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bonus: Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, text embedding, and prompt engineering
- Bonus: experience developing or fine-tuning NLP applications for real-world use cases
Data Science (Game Science and Machine Learning): Drive impactful insights and deliver solutions through the application of machine learning, causal inference, and data-driven analysis to supportLive Services, Studio Operations, Marketing, and Franchise Strategy. Contribute to our mission of enhancing consumer and player experiences by leveraging advanced methodologies.
Experimental design and analysis
Expertise in causal inference (instrumental variable, diff-in-diff, etc.)
Proficiency in Python programming
Solid knowledge of Spark
Experience with relational databases and SQL querying
Familiarity with engineering tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines) for model training and deployment
Proficient in machine learning tools such as SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, and related frameworks
Data Analytics (Mobile): Be a core component of the most successful Mobile gaming business by working closely with internal teams across Product, Production, User Acquisition, Development, Design, Leadership, and other decision-makers on our games to deliver critical insights to support strategic business and marketing decisions.
- Expertise in querying with SQL
- Expertise in quantitative methods – finding the truth and narrative in the data
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and standard processes
- Programming expertise in Python and/or R is preferable
- Bonus: comfortable working in a Notebook environment (Jupyter, Zeppelin, etc.)
Data Analytics Internship: This is an exciting role in our AI team that allows the candidate to interact with multiple teams and senior leaders to build up skills and capabilities. The candidate will learn how to solve interesting problems in a systematic way specifically in ads space for gaming. The team has a diverse team of talents whom love innovation, collaboration, and having fun while doing it. Projects may include life time value evaluation and framework research and crash analysis.

The challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly impact the team you are contributing on. In addition to your day-to-day work, you’ll participate in intern exclusive Learning & Development and social events (virtual and in-person).
All internships will be conducted in-person. Hosting managers will determine when and how often interns work in the office. All interns will have the option to opt into relocation services (flights, trains, or car mileage reimbursement). Additionally, all interns will be provided with a living stipend to supplement housing, utility, commuting, and miscellaneous costs.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
