Requirements
  • Pursuing an associates, bachelors, masters, or PhD and graduating December 2025 – July 2026
  • Available to participate in a 12-week internship starting in late-May or mid-June
  • Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
  • Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
  • Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
  • Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
  • Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities

  • Programming expertise in Python
  • Knowledge of data systems, relational databases, querying with SQL
  • Experience with LLM integration frameworks (e.g., LangChain or similar tools)
  • Familiar with version control, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Bonus: Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, text embedding, and prompt engineering
  • Bonus: experience developing or fine-tuning NLP applications for real-world use cases
  • Experimental design and analysis
  • Expertise in causal inference (instrumental variable, diff-in-diff, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of Spark
  • Familiarity with engineering tools and practices (e.g., GitHub, CI/CD pipelines) for model training and deployment
  • Proficient in machine learning tools such as SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, and related frameworks
  • Expertise in quantitative methods – finding the truth and narrative in the data
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and standard processes
  • Programming expertise in Python and/or R is preferable

Responsibilities
  • Help research and develop NLP applications to support game design and development, advancing ML-driven solutions that improve the efficiency and quality of game development.
  • Drive impactful insights and deliver solutions through the application of machine learning, causal inference, and data-driven analysis to support Live Services, Studio Operations, Marketing, and Franchise Strategy.
  • Be a core component of the most successful Mobile gaming business by working closely with internal teams across Product, Production, User Acquisition, Development, Design, Leadership, and other decision-makers on our games to deliver critical insights to support strategic business and marketing decisions.
  • This is an exciting role in our AI team that allows the candidate to interact with multiple teams and senior leaders to build up skills and capabilities. The candidate will learn how to solve interesting problems in a systematic way specifically in ads space for gaming. The team has a diverse team of talents whom love innovation, collaboration, and having fun while doing it. Projects may include life time value evaluation and framework research and crash analysis.
