Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics; retail or e-commerce experience is a must
  • 2+ years of people management experience where you’ve developed and coached individuals
  • Experience working with large datasets using SQL
  • Experience in Python or R for statistical analysis and visualization
  • The ability to distill complexity into easy-to-understand takeaways and experience coaching others in effective storytelling
  • An executive presence with the ability to influence and regularly present to senior leadership
Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to understand our customers inside and out, identify goal metrics, and provide actionable recommendations across marketing, digital product, retail, emerging channels, and customer experience
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of analysts; evolve the team’s processes and productivity as Brooklinen continues to mature as a business
  • Pivot between high-level strategy and detailed tactics to plan and prioritize your team’s roadmap and portfolio of projects
  • Effectively communicate an objective, evidence-based perspective through crisp storytelling to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work with data & analytics engineering counterparts to scope self-serve analytics by providing input and feedback on data modeling, dashboard design, and measurement needs
