About the job
- A master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university is required.
- Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology is required.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate status is required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365, including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams, is required.
- Ability to use computer-based technology, including a computer or laptop and cell phone, is required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
- Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
- Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
- Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
- Collaborate with community providers, including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing or vision loss, to ensure continuity of services for families.
- Provide service coordination to an assigned caseload, including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.
- Two years of pediatric experience is preferred.
- Bilingual and bicultural candidates are encouraged to apply.
