The Shipyard invests in FancyAI to lead brand discovery in generative search era

The Shipyard, a Columbus-based independent agency, has made a strategic investment in FancyAI, a Generative Engine Optimisation platform, becoming the first agency to offer patent-pending GEO technology directly to clients. The investment values FancyAI at an undisclosed amount. FancyAI helps brands improve visibility and credibility across AI-powered discovery environments as consumer behaviour shifts from traditional search engines to AI-generated recommendations. The platform provides actionable insights to influence how brands are interpreted and prioritised by AI systems. The Shipyard has begun deploying FancyAI's technology internally and with select clients across paid, earned and owned channels. The investment forms part of The Shipyard's long-term strategy to integrate best-in-class capabilities with proprietary technology, following recent acquisitions of TinyWins, Fahlgren Mortine and Turner PR.
