- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging program.
- Hold Registered Radiologic Technologist certification with one year of diagnostic radiology experience, or hold an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists magnetic resonance certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists registry in lieu of Registered Radiologic Technologist certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
- Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Hold Registered MRI Technologist certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
- Have one year of MRI training and experience.
