Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures manually and using specialized laboratory equipment in all areas of the laboratory, including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, and serology.
Recognize critical results and report them to the ordering or on-call physician.
Maintain complete records of tests performed and test results.
Perform quality control using established control testing procedures.
Prepare required reagents.
Perform minor troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on equipment and instruments, and maintain the appropriate records.
Evaluate daily quality control records for failures and take appropriate actions.
Assist in training new employees and students.
Participate in proficiency testing surveys by evaluating unknown materials.
Assist phlebotomy with technical questions and reception duties.
Provide a welcoming and respectful patient experience, address questions and concerns promptly, access patient records as appropriate to assist with inquiries, and connect patients with the appropriate team member when additional assistance is needed.

Indiana Internal Medicine Consultants (IIMC) is looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our team at our Greenwood, Indiana location. This is a great opportunity for a laboratory professional looking for a consistent Monday - Friday schedule in a physician practice setting.
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting our clinical team by performing laboratory testing and helping provide timely, accurate results that support patient care. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in the quality of their work.

COMPENSATION
MLT Hourly Range: $22.00 - $32.00 (based on years of experience)
MLS Hourly Range: $26.00 - $38.00 (based on years of experience)

DUTIES PERFORMED
