Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the CPG industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience with trade spending analysis and promotional evaluations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills, strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of marketing programs like Ibotta and Fetch is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis of marketing campaigns to support strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights.
  • Analyze sales and marketing metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
  • Assist in the development and management of the annual marketing budget.
  • Monitor and track marketing expenditures to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Create financial forecasts and update them regularly based on actual performance.
  • Evaluate the financial impact of trade promotions and suggest optimization strategies.
  • Develop and maintain trade spending reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze the performance of marketing programs such as Ibotta and Fetch.
  • Develop and maintain consumer spending reports and dashboards and report to stakeholders on an agreed upon timeline.
  • Ensure that all marketing expenditures follow licensee agreements and are documented in accordance with such agreements.
  • Provide the quarterly marketing reporting requirements for the royalty reports.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and finance/accounting teams to ensure cohesive financial planning and analysis.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
