Requirements
  • Proficiency in carpentry, including partition framing with metal or wood studs, basic cabinetry and countertop installation, and door and window installation.
  • Proficiency in interior and exterior painting.
  • Proficiency in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, including replacement or installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical work, including replacement or installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets; basic data connections; and diagnosing minor electrical problems.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and build relationships.
  • Ability to provide detailed repair documentation, including measurements, pictures, repair recommendations, and quotes.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or on call as workload and emergency issues dictate.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
  • Must supply basic construction hand tools.
  • Must have OSHA 10-hour training or complete it within three months of employment; the employer pays for completion.
