  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, with depth in data products, data infrastructure, or technical or platform product management.
  • Technical fluency in reading schemas, reasoning about pipelines and data models, and discussing engineering trade-offs.
  • A track record of shipping and turning ambiguous problem spaces into sequenced roadmaps that get built.
  • Strong instincts for data quality and entity resolution, including defining good data and defending it at scale.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
Responsibilities
  • Own the data platform roadmap end to end, including ingestion, enrichment, matching, vertical data models, and synchronization between the warehouse, customer relationship management system, and products.
  • Turn ambiguous data problems into fully specified, buildable projects.
  • Prioritize a large backlog by determining which verticals, data sources, and quality fixes come first and why.
  • Own the data quality feedback loop by defining how to catch bad data before customers see it and driving the process to fix it.
  • Evaluate and manage third-party data and enrichment vendors based on coverage, quality, and cost, and make build-versus-buy decisions.
  • Monitor artificial intelligence and enrichment spending as a growing driver of cost of goods sold, and account for its impact in roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ship and connect customer needs with pipeline capabilities.

Uluu raises $16M for seaweed plastics

Uluu, a Perth-based sustainable materials startup, raised $16 million in Series A funding to develop a facility for producing seaweed-based plastic alternatives at a commercial scale.
