About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training is a plus.
- One or more years of experience operating tablet press machinery is preferred.
- Familiarity with current good manufacturing practice regulations and cleanroom protocols is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- A State of Florida Pharmacy Technician License is preferred.
- Set up, operate, and monitor tablet press machines, including rotary tablet presses, according to standard operating procedures and batch records.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure tablet quality, including weight, hardness, and thickness.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and escalate them as needed.
- Accurately document production activity, inspections, and deviations.
- Adhere to safety protocols, current good manufacturing practice guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Support changeovers and assist with cleaning validation and related documentation.
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve issues and meet production goals.
- Technical training is a plus.
