Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales with a track record of consistent over-achievement.
  • Ability to travel 45 percent of the time within the assigned market.

  • Knowledge of the local market, competitors, and current industry trends.
Responsibilities
  • Generate revenue by converting qualified leads into sales opportunities and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute an outbound prospecting and referral strategy to establish a book of business from partner and inbound leads.
  • Conduct in-person sales presentations and in-product web demonstrations for independent restaurant owners.
  • Apply Value Selling sales methodology to create prospect awareness and demonstrate thought leadership in the restaurant technology space.
  • Manage the full-cycle outside sales funnel from initial qualification to closing deals.
  • Utilize Salesforce reports and dashboards to evaluate pipeline health and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to audit the sales pipeline and utilize data-driven insights to improve conversion rates.
  • Contribute to the iteration and scaling of sales strategies, tools, and team practices.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance targets.

ChowNow builds online ordering platforms for independent restaurants. Its system connects orders from a restaurant’s own website, Facebook, Google, and ChowNow’s site into a single dashboard so owners don’t need multiple devices. It processes both first-party orders (directly from the restaurant) and third-party orders (from partners) in one place. Unlike many rivals, ChowNow does not charge commissions on orders; instead it earns revenue from subscription plans and service charges. It mainly serves small to mid-sized independent restaurants, helping them simplify ordering and improve the customer experience. Its goal is to provide a cost-effective, centralized online ordering solution that reduces fees and makes it easier for restaurants to manage orders.
