Requirements

  • Applicants should have good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

  • Gain insight into research and drug-development processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Deepen, expand, and practically apply pharmaceutical knowledge.
  • Learn the implementation of the German Medicinal Products Act, the Medicinal Products and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Manufacturing Ordinance, international Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Clinical Practice guidelines, pharmacopoeia requirements, other recognized standards, and/or drug-approval requirements in preparation for the third state examination.
  • Learn the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Depending on the area, contribute to developing formulations, manufacturing processes, delivery devices, and container closure systems for new biological or chemically defined drugs; develop and test methods; and independently address pharmaceutical-technical and pharmaceutical-analytical questions.
  • Work independently on current scientific questions across development projects; apply established or develop novel analytical methods to improve scientific understanding of innovative dosage forms for poorly soluble active ingredients; document results in reports and present them to internal subject-matter audiences.
  • Contribute to global project management for supplying medication to clinical studies.
